Huntington Harbor Project: Common Areas

We're thrilled to finally showcase some of the amazing new projects we've been working on over the last several months. With the past year redefining what homes should feel and look and function like, we've had the pleasure of creating spaces for families who have decided to find ways to be closer together. Our Huntington Harbor project was a labor of love for a beautiful young family. Today we're taking you through a look at the first level of this beautiful project. This bright, airy space is full of subtle detail and endless charm and we couldn't be happier to have worked together on this.

the ENTRY

A sweeping driveway welcomes you to a grand entrance at our Huntington Harbor Project. This tiny niche was the perfect space for a beautifully welcoming moment of some of our favorite things. Subtly patterned wallpaper and plenty of fresh greenery is the best way to say hi.

the GREAT ROOM

With no lack of light or air, we enjoyed every moment of styling this great room. A striking 18' pitch, with white washed beams surrounded by mature landscaping makes this vast space still so cozy.

KCID INSIDER: Large and neutral rooms require plenty of texture and layering for a warm feel. Ensuring that each item carries its own special feeling and layering textiles like rugs and throws create endless warmth to keep things from feeling too bright or stark.

the DINING + LOUNGE

Parents, now more than ever, are carving out spaces of their homes for themselves. This beautiful lounge centered between the dining and the outdoor spaces allows mom to be in the middle of everything without ever getting on her feet . Making sure this space was casual, yet still chic for the adults was important.

the Laundry + Powder

The utility spaces in this home were just as important as the living quarters. Using a fun stripe pattern wallpaper in a subtle color, we created a bit of interest in the laundry room, while dressing up the pretty little powder with a fun play on an animal print.

This bright beautiful gem in the Huntington Harbor was a dream to work on with a dream client. Check back in soon, for the second level full of kid-friendly fun!

Authentically yours,
