Sunset Beach

This 1905 family beach home got an update focused around the best things - family and fun; flip flops encouraged. We kept the original three-story floor plan while opening up interiors to focus all rooms on the uninterrupted ocean views. Extending the living space towards the water allowed us to relocate the kitchen for true indoor-outdoor living. Wall-to-wall bifolding doors in the kitchen open up to let the sea breeze in, while the great room design focuses around the home's original fireplace and original molding. A pivot from the expected coastal blues, a series of grays and turquoises in the kitchen breathes life into this old home. Three levels of family space allows for an expansive primary suite, layered with texture and coastal stripes, while each bathroom received its own burst of personality, all under the umbrella of a contemporary coastal home. Upstairs features a loft fit for movies - the perfect spot to curl up in the oversized nook, or grab some popcorn and a cocktail to enjoy on the balcony, where glass railings allow for beautiful sunset views. A spiral staircase brings visitors up to the rooftop, where you can take full advantage of the 360-degree views.
